報載目前全港有超過10萬人患上認知障礙症,即是老人癡呆症或腦退化症。隨著人口增加,患者持續飆升。
預防勝於治療,從今天起,一定要跟 Dr. Paul Nussbaum 的「貼士」做,編織、跳舞除外。

1.    Join clubs or organizations that need volunteers.
2.    Develop a hobby or two.
3.    Practice writing with your non-dominant hand.
4.    Take dance lessons.
5.    Start gardening. 
6.    Walk daily or buy a pedometer and walk 10,000 steps a day.
7.    Read and write daily.
8.    Start knitting.
9.    Learn a new language.
10.   Play board games such as Scrabble and Monopoly. 
11.   Take classes throughout your lifetime.
12.   Listen to classical music.
13.   Learn a musical instrument.
14.   Travel.
15.   Pray.
16.   Learn to meditate.
17.   Get enough sleep.
18.   Eat more foods containing Omega-3 fatty acids.
19.   Eat more fruits and vegetables
20.   Eat at least one meal a day with family and friends.
